MARTA marks a significant milestone for Gannon and Benjamin, being the first boat we've built with an electric motor. This innovative vessel blends the latest in electric propulsion with the enduring principles of traditional boatbuilding. She is Nat Benjamin's design No. 100 and Gannon and Benjamin hull No. 85.
A nimble and comfortable daysailer, MARTA is designed for short, overnight excursions, offering basic accommodations for those looking to cruise in style and ease. Powered by an Electric Yacht Quiet Torque 10 propulsion system, she delivers reliable power and range, making her an ideal choice for modern sailors.
Her construction combines the finest materials, including purpleheart for the structural timbers and live oak for the stem. The hull is planked in a combination of tropical wana hardwood and cedar, while the house and cockpit coatings are crafted from silver bali.
