REBECCA of Vineyard Haven is a 60-foot schooner designed by Nat Benjamin and built by Gannon and Benjamin on Martha’s Vineyard in 2001. Inspired by classic designs from Herreshoff, Alden, and Stephens, she blends timeless lines with traditional craftsmanship, using domestic and tropical hardwoods like Angelique, White Oak, and Silver Bali. Chronicled in Schooner: Building a Wooden Boat on Martha’s Vineyard by Tom Dunlop, Rebecca has sailed across the Atlantic, cruised the Caribbean and Mediterranean, and competed in regattas, showcasing both beauty and performance with a meticulously crafted custom interior. She has recently returned to Martha’s Vineyard under new owners.
